Howard has 28 years experience as a rower and coach. He has been a
professional coach for the past 17 years. He is a member of the Canadian
Professional Coaches Association and currently is the Men's Coach for the
University of Victoria (1990-present). Howard has also been the Provincial
Coach for the Province of Saskatchewan (1985-1990) and an Assistant coach
for the Canadian National Team (1990-1995). Howard coaches West Coast
Rowing to enable him to bring his experience and expertise to all levels
of rowing. |

Marilyn has 24 years experience as a rower and coach. She won a silver
medal rowing at the 1984 Olympics to cap off a successful 6 year career as
a Canadian National Team Rower. Marilyn is fully certified level 2 coach
in Canada's 5 level National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
Marilyn is the staff and school programs director for West Coast Rowing and her enthusiasm,
friendliness and love for the sport are all passed on to our other coaches
and instructors. |
