Howard has 35+ years experience as a rower and coach. He has been a
professional coach for the past 24 years. He is a member of the Canadian
Professional Coaches Association and currently is the Men's Coach for the
University of Victoria (1990-present). National Team Assistant 1990-95, 2002-2008 during which time his crews coached have won Gold and Bronze medals at the Olympics and World Championships. Howard just finished a year as the interim Men's Lightweight Head Coach for Rowing Canada. |

Marilyn has 24 years experience as a rower and coach. She won a silver
medal rowing at the 1984 Olympics to cap off a successful 6 year career as
a Canadian National Team Rower. Marilyn is fully certified level 2 coach
in Canada's 5 level National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
Marilyn is the staff and school programs director for West Coast Rowing and her enthusiasm,
friendliness and love for the sport are all passed on to our other coaches
and instructors. |
